From our overnight spot in RepvÃ¥g, the drive was about an hour and a half to Nordkapp. First, we followed the coast, which was very pretty in the sunshine, then we entered the Nordkapp Tunnel. We hiked to Litlverivassforsen today, a waterfall in Norway’s Rago National Park. Today, we visited Saltstrauman where there is one of the strongest tidal currents in the world, causing whirlpools and eddies up to 10 metres in diameter. At 10 o’clock this morning we took a shuttle boat across Holandsfjord to visit Engabreen, an arm of Norway’s second-largest glacier, Svartisen.
