The Falls of Clyde

We woke up bright and early to sunshine. Perfect for our 12k walk along the banks of the River Clyde. The waterfalls were beautiful, as were the woodlands, and the birdsong that accompanied us all morning.

The afternoon was spent driving to Loch an Eilein where we’re staying tonight. It’s a very pretty loch with a castle in the middle. I had a swim and was quite pleased to get quite close to the castle. My furthest wild swim!
