Last week we finally managed to get tickets for the Rugby World Cup quarter finals, to see Wales versus Argentina in Marseille tomorrow. It took a lot of perseverance over a couple of weeks, checking for tickets either newly released or being resold. Then, while John was watching one of the final group games in the campsite bar last week, more tickets kept coming online as teams were knocked out of the event and people wanted to offload their tickets. I kept refreshing the screen, getting excited as tickets became available, then disappointed when someone beat me to them. Finally, when Iād almost given up, I had two tickets in my basket! John was a a happy boy!

Weāre now on a campsite in La Couronne. From here, after a bike ride to the station, we can catch the train into Marseille. Itāll be a long day, but weāre looking forward to it.

As weāve been very active recently, making most of the places weāre visiting, and the good weather, we decided to potter around the campsite and relax today. Itās a bit cooler so we decided to get the new resistance bands out. Weāve been carrying them around unopened for 6 weeks, so we thought weād better use them! Then John went for a 40 minute run along the coast to the lighthouse, while I did some yoga. Weāve also played boules for the first time this trip!

We had lunch at the campsite restaurant because weāre both sick of bread and cheese⦠I never thought Iād say that! Afterwards, I got my jigsaw out⦠something else bought especially for the holiday. As itās autumn, I was expecting a few rainy days, but weāve only had two so far, and one of those was when we saw Wales versus Portugal in Nice! Now weāre preparing lunch and getting ready for tomorrow. I hope Wales win š¤š“ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó æ
