I’ve put 5.4 kilograms (12 pounds) on over the last 6 weeks. Rachel and Richard looked after us really well in Tasmania, we’ve eaten out a lot, and I’ve been drinking alcohol every day, sometimes twice a day. We’ve also been doing relatively little exercise, with some easy walking but no running or weights. I am now 66.2 kilograms (well over 10 stone), which is much higher than the 60 kilograms (9 and a half stone) I’ve managed to hover around for the last 10 years or so since I lost a lot of weight (almost 3 stone). It’s time to get motivated and do something about this weight gain and, as I’ve failed for the last 2 weeks, I’m going public to make myself accountable for what I put in my mouth and how much I move my body. Watch this space!
I apologise for my manky looking scales. At least my toenails look quite nice!
