Beautiful weather again today, thankfully, as we’d planned to spend it at our favourite beach (or lawn!) on the lake. The weekend rush is over and this morning the spot we like was very peaceful. In fact we almost had it to ourselves for the first couple of hours.
John took his fishing rod as we’d spotted some big fish in the lake, but he didn’t manage to catch anything.
I just bobbed around in my rubber ring 🙂 Too lazy to even swim!
We had a lovely lunch… Probably the second best meal out we’ve had on our travels… At a restaurant with beautiful views of the lake.
We’re now back at the van planning the next stage of our trip as we’re moving on to Germany tomorrow. We’re thinking of Mittenwald followed by Garmish-Partenkirchen for some walking, including an ascent of the the highest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze; then possibly Fussen and Munich for a little sight seeing. But who knows… Plans may change!
We don’t know when we’ll have wifi again… We’ve been spoilt on this campsite and we’ll probably be back on cheaper stopover sites for a while, so I’m not sure when the next update will be. Don’t miss us too much 😉 x
